There will be a little bit more spectacle to Mississippi State’s game against the LSU Tigers next week. The SEC Network made an announcement on Friday regarding the game.

SEC Nation has been to Starkville on a few occasions. In the inaugural season of the SEC Network in 2014, the first game Starkville hosted the program was for the Mississippi State game against Texas A&M. They have made at least one trip to Starkville each season.

The game will be played at 6 p.m. and be televised on either ESPN or ESPN 2. A final decision will be made after this week’s games have been played to determine which games the network wants to put where.

While SEC Nation may not have the hype or the popularity of ESPN’s College Gameday, it still signifies the importance of the game that they are highlighting. It’s a fun program and is a great way to show off Mississippi State’s fans and the campus we all love. The program will air live from the Junction starting at 9 a.m. on the SEC Network as it does every Saturday during the college football season
