This past Saturday night the Mississippi St. Bulldogs faced the then #8 Auburn Tigers (now #21 in AP Poll) and came out with a 23-9 victory.
Defensive end, Montez Sweat, played a huge role in Saturday night’s win. Sweat finished the game with three sacks and several QB hurries.
This season Sweat has made a huge difference for the Mississippi St. Bulldogs every game. There’s no doubt he will be drafted in the 2019 NFL Draft. My guess, he’s drafted in the first round and possibly the first defensive lineman drafted in the entire draft if he keeps this up.
Look who has entered the top 10 in career sacks among active FBS players following a big three-sack performance in the win vs. No. 8 Auburn.

With Sweat’s three sacks on Saturday night he enter the leaderboards for sacks among FBS college players with 18 sacks in 19 games. That’s just crazy. NFL scouts are licking their lips every time they turn on the tv and watch the monstrous Mississippi State defense and prospect, Montez Sweat.
