Shaquon Anderson Butts, a wide receiver from Iowa Western Community College, has committed to Mississippi State.
Before committing to Miss. State via Twitter, Butts committed to Penn State in 2018 and was an Under Armour All-American. However, the Harrisburg, Pa., native said Bulldogs coach Joe Moorhead and coach Charles Huff for his reason of committing with the Bulldogs.

”I’ve known him for a long time and we stayed in communication a lot after I had to go to Iowa Western. I know it will be a good fit for me because of Coach Moorhead and Coach (Charles) Huff. I haven’t been down there yet but I will be there this summer to check everything out.”

The 6-foot, 202-pound Butts redshirted with Iowa Western and will attend Mississippi State in 2020, allowing him to play a little longer as a junior college transfer.
Butts also received offers from Penn State, Florida, Kentucky, Baylor, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Oregon.
With Butts commit, Moorhead and the Bulldogs now have five commitments for the Class of 2020, one that is ranked No. 16 by 247Composite. The other recruits include receivers Lideatrick Griffin, E. Jai Mason, Javorrius Selmon and Johnquarise Patterson.
