Good afternoon, Stark Vegas! It’s the fourth day of December and it’s beginning to feel like Chr- finals. Fellow college students can relate to that.

Alas, sports are a good study break, and what better way to relax or take a break than by watching Mississippi State athletics.

MBB hosts McNeese State

There’s no way to cover it, the Bulldogs should roll in this one. McNeese State is 2-5 and their only two wins are against non-Division-I opponents. They lost to Loyola (Louisiana), an NAIA school. Tip-off is 7 p.m. CT

McCowan wins SEC Player of the Week

For the second time this season, women’s basketball’s Teaira McCowan won SEC Player of the Week. She had two double-doubles and broke the MSU career rebounding record this past week.

Cowbell ALLOWED at the Outback Bowl

You’ll be able to bring your Cowbells to Raymond James Stadium for the Outback Bowl game against Iowa.

Urban Meyer to step down as Ohio State head coach

According to a report, Urban Meyer will not return as head coach of Ohio State after the Rose Bowl. Ryan Day will take over, ending rumors of his departure to Louisville. OSU will have a press conference later this afternoon.

Kliff Kingsbury agrees to USC job

Former Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury reportedly agreed to an offensive coordinator job at USC, per Bruce Feldman. J.T. Daniels is going to be reeeeeally good now.

Jarrett Stidham to turn pro

Going to the CFL is still going pro, I guess.
