As Vic Schaefer and the Mississippi State women’s basketball team made it into Nashville for the Southeastern Conference Tournament, the Bulldogs were greeted with a personal gift. The Nashville Predators, runners up in last year’s Stanley Cup finals, made a personalized jersey and presented it to the women’s basketball team.

The SEC Tournament is being hosted in Bridgestone Arena, the home of the Preds, so it’s only natural that both sides would embrace each other. Especially considering that the SEC Tournament got kicked off yesterday and will be continuing through this Sunday when the championship game will be played.
That's how we do it here in #Smashville! https://t.co/us3Hv7K3L7

As it currently stands, it looks like multiple SEC teams were met with custom jerseys. If you were to scroll through Bridgestone Arena’s tweets, you’d see that Alabama, Texas A&M, Auburn, and Mizzou all have custom Preds jerseys as well.
I spy a @PredsNHL jersey https://t.co/YtAzFv2zr6
