STARKVILLE, Miss. – After dropping a Southeastern Conference series this weekend against Auburn, Mississippi State will look to get back on track with a non-conference matchup today against the Memphis Tigers at AutoZone Park.
The Diamond Dawgs (19-18, 5-10 SEC) will battle it out with the Tigers (12-25) with a 6:30 p.m. CT first pitch from AutoZone Park, home of the St. Louis Cardinals Triple-A affiliate Memphis Redbirds.
MSU is coming in with a 14-8 in non-conference contests this season.
Wednesday’s matchup will mark the ninth all-time meeting between the two programs at AutoZone Park. State holds a 5-3 advantage. State leads the all-time series against the Tigers 51-25, with a 16-12 advantage in games played in Memphis.
