STARKVILLE, Miss. – To say that Mississippi State baseball has turned things around is an understatement, as the Diamond Dawgs are coming in with a four-game winning streak, including a 7-6 walk-off win over Ole Miss in the annual Governor’s Cup.
With a little less than a month remaining in the regular season, State’s bats habe finally gotten going and the Dawgs will look to keep things going this weekend as the Dawgs face No. 18 Texas A&M in a three-game Southeastern Conference this weekend at Dudy Noble Field.
The Diamond Dawgs (23-19, 8-10 SEC) and Aggies (30-11, 9-9 SEC) begin the series today at 6:30 p.m. CT and continues Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CT before concluding Sunday at 3:30 p.m. CT.
The four-game winning streak also includes a sweep of No. 3 Arkansas during Super Bulldog Weekend.
The Aggies are coming into the game off a midweek win over Abilene Christian and a two games to one SEC series loss to Tennessee last weekend.
