It isn't rare to hear of an athlete transferring out of a program these days, but three in one day seems a little strange. Three athletes have decided to venture elsewhere in their academic and playing careers.
Sunday afternoon, senior safety Brandon Bryant tweeted that he was leaving the program. He had not practiced this spring because of academic issues. However, Bryant saw a good bit of time on the field this past fall recording 32 tackles, three pass deflections, and an interception.
Thank you MSU! I am truly honored that I had a chance to come here to change my life forever. Nothing but love to all of my former teammates and the amazing fan base ❤️ I will always be a bulldog at heart but now my new chapter awaits ✈️

A few hours later it was reported that two Men' Basketball players would transfer. Junior Xavian Stapleton and sophomore (this past year) Eli Wright opted out of the program. Stapleton had a few very clutch shots this season, and he could shoot the three ball rather well on a team that struggled to shoot beyond the arc.
It is still unclear where these players will transfer to, and no one knows the exact reason of these three athletes departure. No matter the reason, I wish them the best of luck in their future career and endeavors.
