AP Top 25 Thoughts Going into Week 2

The Top 25 had Some Changes and College Football is Ready for Week 2

NCAA Football: Stephen F. Austin at Mississippi State Matt Bush-USA TODAY Sports

The Bulldogs continue to stay at #18 (UCF is #19 lol) in the AP Poll this week. Dawgs are headed to Manhattan, Kansas to take on a sub-par Kansas State opponent. I got the Dawgs winning big this weekend... 45-20

Let’s get into some other questionable teams in the top 25 this week:

Clemson at #2 and rightfully so. BUT they take on the Aggies at Texas A&M. I’m picking the Tigers in a close one... only because I’ve been to College Station and I know that crowd is ready to get wild.

And to my biggest surprise LSU jumped 14 spots from #25 to #11. C’mon AP Poll... that’s just overreacting. That Miami game had a lot to do with Miami being absolute garbage and also LSU is a touch of a bit better than we thought... NOT 14 SPOTS BETTER! LSU plays SE Louisiana this weekend... so they’ll most likely stay where they are.

#25... Florida. Ole Dan found his way into the top 25 after a Charleston Southern victory. This week UF hosts UK at 6:30 pm CT. I’m picking UF, but I don’t think Kentucky lays down easily.

And finally... #24 South Carolina. I’m extremely interested in watching the 2:30 CBS SEC game of the week as the Gamecocks take on UGA. If this game was in Athens, I think I’d be less interested, but because there will be SANDSTORM and there will be DEEBO SAMUEL, I’m still picking the Dawgs... but it will be a tight one till the 4th quarter.

Here’s the entire list of this week’s AP Top 25 going into week 2:
