Teaira McCowan named to Wooden Award watch list
MSU standout McCowan was named to the midseason top-25 for the Wooden Award on Wednesday. She averages 16.4 points and 13 rebounds per game, both are team highs. According to HailState.com, the list will be trimmed down to 20, then a list of 15 finalists will be revealed before the NCAA tournament. The winner will be announced on April 12 at the College Basketball Awards.
Men’s tennis begins new year with Tempe Collegiate Cup

Keith Mixon to transfer from Mississippi State
Per AL.com, Mixon is planning to leave Starkville. According to their sources, UAB is one of the potential landing spots. Mixon had 10 receptions for 137 yards and two touchdowns this season.
