Good afternoon, Stark Vegas! I wish I could open with that the Bulldogs started 1-0 in SEC play, but, sadly, Ben Howland’s squad fell to the Gamecocks of South Carolina. At least Alabama got handled in the national championship, right?
MBB falls in SEC opener
To the cruel hands of double-overtime, the Bulldogs fell short of South Carolina in their SEC opener 87-82. Aric Holman had 20 points and grabbed 10 boards and Nick and Quinndary Weatherspoon, Lamar Peters and Abdul Ado scored in the double-digits. MSU will have the chance to bounce back on Saturday as it hosts Ole Miss.

The only national news that I think should be discussed is the CFP title game. What are your guys’ thoughts? I know some people think the Clemson vs. Alabama rivalry is getting repetitive (see: Cleveland vs. Golden State), but the past few title games have been amazing. For me, I was just in shock.
Have a good day and Hail State!
