As he boasts a combination of height, speed, and athleticism, Dantzler has emerged into Mississippi State’s most lethal defensive weapon.

In addition to his wide array of skills, Dantzler’s leadership has been key for the Bulldogs. Dantzler has 14 total tackles, 13 solo, an interception, fumble recovery, and four pass breakups on the year. At 6-foot-2, 185 pounds, Dantzler’s length has and continues to be a problem for the opposition.

As Dantzler's energy is infectious amongst his teammates, it will have to be at its height going forward. The competition is only getting stiffer and the Bulldogs should be running on all cylinders defensively. Look for Dantzler to be the catalyst, not just in the secondary, but for Mississippi State’s defense as a whole.

The Bulldogs hope to make a statement next week against Tennessee and Dantzler should make his presence felt early. Expect Dantzler to jump out of the gate, as his resume and skillset speak for themselves.
