Mississippi State Football: Previewing Week 10

An immediate threat to opposing defenses, junior Bulldog Kylin Hill is sure to have his way tomorrow afternoon.

Broadcast Information

The game is at 3 p.m. CT and can be watched on the SEC Network.

What to Watch For

Kylin Hill on the ground

Against an Arkansas defense that has been relatively pedestrian, expect Hill to post monstrous numbers. On 155 attempts, Hill has rushed for 793 yards and six touchdowns thus far. Mississippi State’s offense continues to run through Hill, as he may have a 200 yard day in Fayetteville. Look for Hill to remain atop the SEC in rush yards.

While the Bulldogs continue to struggle in the receiving game, Hill is a reliable weapon who has lived up to expectations week after week. With his skillset coupled with leadership, Hill has become one of Mississippi State’s primary faces. That said, there is only so much he can do to carry the Bulldogs offensively.

Though Hill will put on a show, look for senior back Nick Gibson to be a factor in third down situations. A spark plug when needed, Gibson has 84 yards and two touchdowns on the year. With assistance from Gibson, Hill will take over from start to finish.

Prediction

Mississippi State wins 21-10
