No. 10 Mississippi State vs Troy Women’s Basketball Preview

The Bulldogs welcome the Trojans to Stark Vegas, as they look to earn their fourth straight win.

Broadcast Information

The game is at 7 p.m. CT and can be watched on the SEC Network.

What to Watch For

Myah Taylor running the show

A speedy floor general, Taylor is a score first point guard who sets the tone early and dictates pace. As Troy is coming off a 94-64 home victory over Jacksonville State, the Trojans can score in bunches. While the Bulldogs are proving to be lethal offensively, it starts with Taylor, who can get through the lane and to the basket at will.

Taylor’s speed and vision is the Trojans achilles heel. She is averaging 7.3 points and is yet to have that break out game. Expect Taylor to put on a scoring clinic at home. That said, she must stay out of foul trouble to do so. If able to keep Troy on their heels, the Bulldogs should have a night in Starkville.

Mississippi State wins 96-72
