What to Watch For

Jordan Danberry on defense

Known to be one of the nation’s premier defenders, Danberry has picked up right where she left off. Already with 12 steals on the year, she will have to be a factor in tonight’s matchup. The 5-foot-8 guard can force the issue and has become one of the Bulldogs most reliable weapons. Look for at least two critical steals and potential blocked shots from Danberry.

Jessika Carter down low

Off to a blazing start, there is every reason to believe that Carter should post a Double-double. Fresh off a 19 points and 14 rebounds, Carter has ruled the paint on both ends of the floor. While Carter is known for ability to score and crash the boards, she has been reliable at the line. If able to draw multiple fouls while staying out of foul trouble, Carter is likely to have her way and fill the stat line.

Prediction

Mississippi State runs past Jackson State 98-72
