While she is a freshman with plenty to learn, Mingo-Young has been a spark plug off the bench thus far.
Averaging six points per game, the 5-foot-8 guard’s ceiling is sky-high. Mingo-Young is quick with vision and boasts a lethal midrange game. Additionally, she is a reliable free throw shooter, having shot 15-of-19 from the line this season.
While her offensive game is starting to take shape, Mingo-Young is proving to be a formidable defender. With 15 steals on the year, expect that number to go up against the Mountaineers. Unafraid to force the issue, Mingo-Young is a risk taker defensively. If able to force turnovers, she could be the x-factor in tomorrow’s matchup.
Hail State!
