The Mississippi State football team (6-6, 3-5 SEC) accepted an invitation on Sunday to take on Louisville (7-5, 5-3 ACC) in the 2019 Music City Bowl.
The game will be played at Nissan Stadium in Nashville on Dec. 30 at 3 p.m. CT. This is the 22nd annual Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl.
The Bulldogs became bowl eligible with a dramatic 21-20 win over rival Ole Miss on Thanksgiving Day.
Mississippi State and Louisville last met in the 2017 TaxSlayer Bowl, which resulted in a 31-27 win for the Bulldogs. MSU enters the game having won three of its last four games.
