Good afternoon, Stark Vegas! What a game, huh? State men’s basketball is putting itself in a comfortable spot to make the NCAA tournament, a feat that hasn’t been done since 2009.

MBB routs Alabama

We want ‘Bama was taken to a whole new level as the Bulldogs defeated the Tide 81-62. Lamar Peters had 22 points, Quinndary Weatherspoon added 20 and Reggie Perry added a double-double. MSU shot 46.7 percent from downtown. Ben Howland’s squad will head to Fayetteville, Arkansas, to face the Razorbacks.

Jeffrey Simmons tears ACL

A projected first-round pick, Simmons was set to be a top defensive tackle before tearing his ACL during position drills. It’ll be interesting to see how much his draft stock is affected.

Duke stages huge comeback, beats Louisville

The Cardinals were up 19 points with six and a half minutes remaining. This game was at Louisville, so the Cards closed out, right?

Wrong.

The Blue Devils did the most Duke thing and came back to win 71-69. This is huge for a team that’s young, because not many freshman-laden teams have the confidence to pull that off.

LSU upsets Kentucky in controversial fashion

Comment what you guys think, because Twitter was entertaining once this game finished.

Have a good day and Hail State!
