Greene, a decorated four-year Bulldog, will be joining a franchise that is on the precipice of becoming a lethal contender in the AFC. Green, like his former teammate and now Washington Redskin Montez Sweat, is a versatile edge rusher that can flourish against both the run and pass. Green’s career 160 total tackles, 20 for loss, 8.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles with Mississippi State stand out and speak for his arsenal of multiple weapons as a rusher.

Green will be added into the mix of an already promising fold including names by the likes of Darius Leonard and Malik Hooker. Furthermore, he will be learning from another Bulldog in veteran Denico Autry as well as one of the offseason’s biggest acquisitions in defensive end Justin Houston. While Green may not start immediately, his leadership will be on full display. He is a natural born leader. Expect Green to fit right in with the Colts and contribute to an already elevated defense.

Hail State!
