McCowan, the third overall pick in this year’s WNBA draft hit the game winning layup to beat the buzzer. A walking double double at Mississippi State, her game is fit for the WNBA. In the Indiana Fever’s victory over the New York Liberty, McCowan posted 11 points and six rebounds. Her career averages with the Bulldogs included 13 points and 10 rebounds per game. Additionally, McCowan posted a total of 271 throughout her four years in maroon and white.

he and fellow former Bulldog star Victoria Vivians are at the center of Indiana’s young core. McCowan, arguably the draft’s best overall talent is sure to light things up with the Fever. While Indiana is young, McCowan is beyond her years on the court.

Hail State!
