What to Watch For

Kylin Hill’s versatile skillset

In addition to his physically, power, and speed, Hill’s vision is second to none. Moreover, he is a patient runner whose versatility can be a game changer. Hill has proven to be a reliable weapon in both the running and receiving game. He has accumulated 431 yards on the ground and 49 in the air thus far.

However, Kentucky will throw a lethal counter-punch. Hill should be their primary focus, as he is likely to see multiple defenders. While he may not post mind boggling stats, look for Hill to be the deciding factor for Mississippi State come crunch time.

Jaquarius Landrews and Brian Cole vs. Lynn Bowden and Ahmad Wagner

As Bowden stands at 6-foot-1, 199 pounds and Wagner at 6-foot-5, 234, the Wildcat wideouts will have a significant height advantage. Having said that, Mississippi State’s safety duo in Landrews and Cole should keep them in check. Both are hard hitters with speed and can cover a ton of ground. Landrews and Cole should have a day and make an immediate impact.

Prediction
