What should we expect from Mississippi State’s Kylin Hill against Auburn?

Hill’s game is sure to be on full display, as he will be heavily relied on to carry the load for the Bulldogs.

Off to a running start in his junior campaign, Hill’s latest challenge comes against Auburn’s top-tier defense, led by defensive linemen Derrick Brown and Nick Coe. With 551 yards and five touchdowns on the year, Hill has proven to be an all-purpose back. That said, Brown and Coe have already combined for 19 total tackles thus far.

Though Brown and Coe can crowd the middle and are quick off their feet, Hill’s power, speed, and elusiveness will give them fits. As coach Joe Moorhead continues to utilize Hill in multiple schemes, he should post impressive numbers. Expect Hill to show no signs of slowing down.

While he is the Bulldogs primary workhorse, Hill can only do so much. Mississippi State’s offensive line will have to be at their best. Though it will be a challenge to handle Brown and Coe, look for both to be somewhat neutralized throughout.

In order for Mississippi State to pull off the miraculous upset, Hill will have to eclipse 100 yards. Expect a complete effort and filled stat line from Hill.
