The Bulldogs put on a show at home, as Florida had no answer for a lethal offensive attack.

As Mississippi State led Florida 27-12 at the end of the first quarter, the Bulldogs turned on the jets and never looked back throughout.

Having committed just 12 turnovers, the Bulldogs were in sync and had their way. Jordan Danberry posted 21 points, eight assists, and four steals. Rickea Jackson added 20 along with seven rebounds. Chloe Bibby recorded a Double-double with 13 points and 10 boards.

Off the bench, Aliyah Matharu and Yemiyah Morris combined for 16 points. Mississippi State’s second unit will be key going forward, as they must show up in big moments. Look for Matharu and Morris to see the floor more often than not.

Defensively, Mississippi State forced 21 total turnovers. If able to play at a high level offensively while staying true to their defensive identity, the Bulldogs should elevate themselves into a top ten squad sooner rather than later.

Hail State!
