STARKVILLE, Miss. — The Mississippi State football team is headed to Oxford, Mississippi, to battle it out with rival Ole Miss in the annual Egg Bowl. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. CT.

The Rebels enter the week ranked 13th in the Southeastern Conference in field goals made, eighth in net punting, 10th in kickoff returns and last in punt returns.

Senior kicker Luke Logan has made three out of his five field goal attempts. Both of his misses have been 42-yard attempts. In his career, he has never hit on a field goal from longer than 41 yards out. He has made 33 of his 35 extra-point attempts on the year.

Though the kicking game has been a struggle, Ole Miss has been relatively consistent in the punting game behind the leg of senior punter Mac Brown. He has punted the ball 18 times for 834 yards (46.3 average) with a net average of 40.2. Five of his punts have been downed inside the 20-yard line.

Sophomore running back Jerrion Ealy has returned nine kickoffs for 189 yards (21.0 average), while sophomore running back Snoop Conner has returned three for 40 (13.3) and freshman running back Henry Parrish Jr. has returned one for 15 yards.

Junior wide receiver Elijah Moore handles the punt return duties and has returned two for a total of minus-1 yard. His longest punt return is an 8-yard return.
