Broadcast Information

The game is at 5:30 p.m. CT and can be watched on the SEC Network.

What to Watch For

Rickea Jackson from midrange

Jackson has been borderline unstoppable from midrange this season, as she can create her own shot and take advantage of mismatches. At 6-foot-2, Jackson leads the team in scoring, averaging 13.9 points per game. Having scored a season high 24 points in Monday’s matchup against Georgi, look for Jackson to post north of 20 this afternoon.

Which Bulldog can neutralize Rennia Davis?

As Davis stands at 6-foot-2 and is averaging 18.1 points along with 8.3 rebounds, expect coach Vic Schaefer to throw the kitchen sink her way. While Jackson matches up to Davis height wise, Jordan Danberry is the Bulldogs primary defensive weapon. Though Davis will have the height advantage, Danberry’s defensive skillset should be enough to contain Tennessee’s most lethal scoring threat. Danberry has accumulated 62 steals on the year and should only add to that number in Knoxville.

Prediction

Mississippi State handles Tennessee 82-68
