While they were put to the test, the Bulldogs ultimately escaped Knoxville with a hard-earned win in their pocket.

Rickea Jackson led the team in scoring with 14 along with nine rebounds. Chloe Bibby and Jordan Danberry combined for 24 with Danberry having come up with five crucial steals.

Held in check, Jessika Carter was limited and found herself in foul trouble having collected four on the night. As Vic Schaefer had to look to his bench, Yemiyah Morris filled in made the most of her season high 22 minutes. Morris posted 11 points, six boards and three steals. Though she also accumulated for fouls, the Lady Vols had no answer for Morris when on the floor. Look for her to see the floor often going forward, as Schaefer will likely split time between Morris and Carter.

Hail State!
