No. 14 Mississippi State and No. 6 Virginia will kick Game 2 off at 6 p.m. on either ESPNU or ESPN2 depending on other games. Look for it on ESPN2 if things go correctly.
Sophomore RHP Trevor Fitts (0-0, 2.28 ERA) will get the start for MSU. Fitts, with three career starts, was last seen against Central Arkansas. He gave up two unearned runs in MSU's loss. For the Cavs, fifth-year senior and top ace Scott Silverstein (10-1, 2.86 ERA) will try to get UVA out in front early. Silverstein, a 6' 6", 240-pound behemoth, has one of college baseball's best comeback stories of 2013. Hot and consistent Bulldog bats were the difference yesterday.
Lot of talk about MSU the last 24 hours but nothing more than the ADIDAS apparel that is being rolled out this weekend.

Is it a big deal? Apparently to some. Lots of folks are displeased but quite a few like the retro look. Take a look at @mstatebb's response via Vine:

Later, MSU changed and wore their traditional maroon. Such a marketing tease. Truth be told, it probably profits ADIDAS a few dollar-dollar bills, y'all. Turns out the news unis didn't have the 'SEC' logo on them so they couldn't be worn...oh well.
Anyway, MSU will be the home team today. With a win, the Bulldogs will advance to their ninth CWS, first since 2007. With a loss, a deciding Game 3 will be on ESPNU tomorrow at 3 p.m.
Now... get to commenting. Our smart, handsome, witty, and intelligent FWtCT brethren will arrive shortly... and so will @justinrsutton.
