It's that time of year again where the 50,000 College Baseball polls that exist begin releasing their preseason top 25. Perfect Game and D1 Baseball are the latest two polls that have been released.
Mississippi State landed about where they were expected at #23 in the Perfect Game Poll. They did not make the rankings for the D1 Baseball Poll. However, according to D1Baseball.com writer Aaron Fitt, the Bulldogs were just outside of the Top 25.
The SEC is well represented in both polls, with Vanderbilt claiming the #1 spot. Florida made the top 5 in both polls as well. LSU, South Carolina, and Texas A&M also landed in the top 25. Ole Miss, Alabama, Arkansas, and Tennessee joined Mississippi State in being ranked in one of the two polls.
If you are an avid College Baseball fan, I recommend that you check out the new site at D1Baseball.com. They recently hired two of the best writers in the business in Aaron Fitt and Kendall Rogers, and they are putting up a lot of great content over there.
