Mississippi State Ranked #22 in NCBWA Poll

The final poll has been released before the start of the 2015 College Baseball season. NCBWA ranked the Bulldogs 22^nd in its first rankings of the year.

That places the Bulldogs in the top-25 in five of the six major polls. Their lowest ranking in those five polls was 25^th, while their highest was 14^th.

Mississippi State will open the season this Friday against Cincinnati without starting catcher Gavin Collins.

Collins, who hit .304 and started 45 games behind the dish last season, will miss the first three to five weeks of the season. He had surgery to repair a bone in his left hand.
