2014 College Football Top 25 and SEC TV Schedule Week Six: How To Watch, Game Times, Channels

We've got all of your viewing information for a really, really good slate of games in week six of the college football season.

Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

These weekends are why we get excited about college football.

After several weeks of rather pedestrian matchups, week six of the college football season brings a slate of games that promises to keep us entertained from the time we wake up to the time we pass out in the neighbor's yard go to sleep.  Let's not waste any more time gumflappin'; let's take a look at my viewing guide and today's full Top 25 and SEC schedule.

Breakfast: College Gameday

The stars have finally aligned for a gameday set in Oxford, and you can bet that you'll see more bow ties and bourbon on television before 10 a.m. Saturday than you ever have before.  The Gameday gang has descended upon Oxford for a huge matchup Saturday between Ole Miss and Alabama.  Even though the Rebels uh, asked that Mr. Corso not put on the head of the animal they picked to be their new mascot a few years ago (should he pick them Saturday), this should still be another fun show.  I can't wait to see Corso break out a red solo cup but then chug a Natural Light out of it, indicating his selection of Alabama instead.

Brunch: Florida at Tennessee [or] Texas A&M at Mississippi State

It's sad to see the Florida-UT rivalry relegated to the 11 a.m. CT kickoff on the SEC Network, but despite the rivalries downturn, this should still be a good game to watch.  Tennessee showed us a lot in a three point loss in Athens last weekend.

Also kicking at an early hour is one of two huge games in the great state of Mississippi on Saturday.  Which maroon team prevails here?  Bettors say MSU but my heart says don't be overconfident, and be weary of a 2012 repeat.  Johnny Manziel on Davis Wade field /shutters.

Mid-Afternoon: Alabama at Ole Miss [or] Oklahoma at TCU

While the former has been dubbed as the game of the week by many, the latter is a really good matchup that's flying under the radar this week.  Both games have a lot at stake in conference races, and both are must-views for your mid-afternoon consumption

Evening: LSU at Auburn [or] Nebraska at Michigan State

As great as Saturday's schedule is, it is a bit front heavy, with these two games being the majority of what's worth watching past about 6 p.m. In the first game, the Tigers and the Tigers square off in a game that would be much more talked about on any other weekend of the season.  Will Auburn avenge last year's only regular season loss, or will LSU's outstanding freshman QB get a win on the plains?

In another non-SEC matchup that's flying under the radar this week, Nebraska heads to Michigan State in what should be a good game.  Will Nebraska be the one who showed up against McNeese State or the one
