Shaquon Anderson-Butts of Iowa Western Community College has committed to joing Joe Moorhead at MSU. He was a Penn State commit in last season's recruiting cycle but didn't qualify for enrollment at Penn State. The Harrisburg, PA native has lined up on offense and defense for Iowa Western.

Louisville knocked off Middle Tennessee 84-68 to setup Mississippi State's next road game in the NIT. Louisville will host the game Tuesday night at the KFC Yum Center in Louisville Kentucky. The winner will clinch a ticket to Madison Square Garden in New York City. At first glance, Louisville looks like a great team so will certainly be a tough test for Mississippi State. The KPI has Baylor at 32 and Louisville at 33. So State is having to go through 2 of the top teams in the NIT on the road to make MSG. More information later.

Mississippi State commit Austin Williams picked up two touchdowns in Ocean Springs High School's win against the Hancock Hawks. However, it was his catch on a two-point conversion that put the Greyhounds ahead for a 36-35 win with nine seconds left to play in the game. Here is a video, though not a very good one, of his touchdown catch to set up the two-point conversion.
The 2016 Relentless trailer is out for the upcoming football season. That thing just gives me chills. We need to keep our video production team and pay them a lot to keep making videos of such high quality and hype.
