After gaining their second SEC win of the season and moving to 5-0 Saturday with a win in Lexington over Kentucky, Mississippi State now travels back home for a big showdown on Saturday, October 13 against the University of Tennessee.
State found out this afternoon that Vegas thinks the game will be close, as the Bulldogs opened as a 1.5 point favorite over the visiting Volunteers of Tennessee.

It would seem, however, that betters feel a bit more confident in MSU, as the line already doubled to 3 in MSU's favor before Sunday even closed.
I wouldn't be surprised to see that number go even higher, possibly peaking near the 4-6 range before Saturday night comes, bringing the matchup of Derek Dooley versus Dan Mullen and Tyler Bray versus Tyler Russell in Starkville.
