We had heard rumblings of such, the first of which I believe came from David Murray of GenesPage, but now it seems that the rumors that State would wear its "Snow Bowl' jerseys for Tuesday's 2013 TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl have some legs:
Word in the Jacksonville streets is that Mississippi State may bust out its Snow Bowl unis Tuesday for Gator Bowl.

Queue the grumblings from a majority of the fanbase. To be honest, I don't blame them for grumbling, at least a little bit. State's only outing in the specially designed Adidas gear to date was an embarrassing 38-13 drubbing at home to Heisman winner Johnny Manziel and the Texas A&M Aggies. But it's important to remember that State lost the game that day because of play on the field (and a Heisman winner being present), and not because of the shirts on their backs. Some people like them (including myself), and some people hate them, but either way, we all just hope for a better outcome in them this time around. For those who don't remember what they look like, here's our gallery of pictures from the reveal in October:
It's also worth noting that the 'Snow Bowl' commemorative jerseys will, for the second time this year as well, be worn in weather accommodating more to sunburn than snow, with temperatures expected to be in the low 70's in Jacksonville on Tuesday.
