It's power poll day! Prepare yourself for the latest ranking of SEC baseball teams following another wild weekend of conference play. The latest power poll should be up sometime later today. Will MSU move up after a strong weekend?

Before we kick off notes today, a few housekeeping items that need attention:

- Justin and I have discussed and are going to try to do a "News & Notes" post on the site at least 3-5 times as week. Now, that will vary some as our schedules go, but we hope that this post will act as a daily place to get your day started, drop in a comment, complain about the weather, etc. If there are certain things you'd like to see as a part of this post, then let us know! We know we have some loyal readers out there who rarely, if ever comment, so don't be shy. Let us hear from you if you have things to say.

- So our good friends at Good Bull Hunting got the crazy idea to make koozies with the site logo on the side. Even our arch enemies over at Red Cup Rebellion did the same. Both products look great, and in talking with Justin, I think that's something we're going to pursue. So if you're an avid drinker of either/both alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages then look out! Our koozies will hopefully be coming your way soon to keep your drinks nice and cold.

Now, on with links

All-American Holder Picks Up Win In 3-2 Walk-Off Thriller -

It was probably closer for longer than it should have been, but Demarcus Henderson drove in the winning run in the bottom of the 9th to propel MSU to a 3-2 win over SE Missouri State last night. The win pushes State to 18-9 on the season, and makes them winners of five of their last six heading into a weekend series at home with Arkansas starting Friday.

More updates from spring practice, which frankly I haven't read because I am a bad fan.

Bulldogs Down Southeastern Louisiana, 2-1 -

The lady bat-swinging Bulldogs moved to 24-10 yesterday with a sound 2-1 win over the Lady Lions from Hammond.

Some guys made a video of themselves BASE jumping off the World Trade Center - SBNation

Don't watch that video if you're not a fan of heights, or lawbreaking. If you're a fan of both, THEN GET OFF THIS BLOG WE DON'T TOLERATE NO ROUGHNECKIN' ROUND HERE.

Vote in SBNation's bracket for best town names, if for no other reason than to make Chunky, Mississippi the rightful champion.

More cancer surgery for Jim Kelly - ESPN

If you are a prayer, the former Bills QB certainly needs yours now. Just awful stuff. We're praying for you, Jim.

Hump Day Hit

This is one of my favorites right now, both band and song. Such a great southern rock band; definitely check them out if you're into country with a little rock and roll infused. BONUS - the lead singer's sideburns are the best ever
