EA Sports NCAA Football '14 Simulation: Mississippi State vs. Auburn

How does Mississippi State fare in week one of the SEC slate on EA NCAA Football 2014?

EA NCAA Football 2014

Last week, MSU was able to get back on track on the real field as well as in the game, as the EA Sim produced a 34-10 win for the Bulldogs to push them to 1-1 on the young season. Now let's take a look at how Mississippi State fare this week as they took on the Auburn Tigers on the digital road at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Well, that's quite the satisfying result. The Bulldogs walk into Auburn and hand the homestanding Tigers a 27-17 loss. On offense, Josh Robinson led the charge with a whopping 33 carries for 150 yards and a touchdown. On the passing side of things, Tyler made a nice return for himself, completing 15 of 26 passes for 154 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions. A great job by digital TR to manage the game.

On the defensive side of things, P.J. Jones was an absolute beast, registering eight tackles, six tackles for loss and two and a half sacks. My goodness big fella, go get 'em.

Now, could we legitimately see a game result like this? Absolutely. Of course, I think we'll see much more Dak featured, as well as LaDarius Perkins, who is returning after resting last weekend. The biggest thing to take away from this sim is well, nothing. It's just for fun. But it sure is much more fun when our digital 11 outplay theirs.
