The 5-star defensive end chose the Rebels over Mississippi State and Florida. As late as November of last year Daniels had MSU at the top along with Ole Miss, but State had been shifted down behind the Rebels and Florida as of late. That didn't stop the Bulldog coaching staff from recruiting Daniel hard, but in the end, he chose Ole Miss.
Many expected Daniel to make this commitment to Ole Miss for some time now due to him saying on numerous occasions that he wants to play with Robert Nkemdiche in college. Nkemdiche, the consensus #1 player in the class of 2013 and brother of Ole Miss rising sophomore Denzel Nkemdiche, has been a rumored Ole Miss lean for awhile, and is expected to sign with the Rebels when National Signing Day rolls around. With Nkemdiche presumably headed to Ole Miss, it looks like Daniel has made that his destination as well.
