BEHOLD! Southern Miss, who just put an absolute beatdown on UAB, is ready for next year's season opener: a, ahh...., "rivalry game" in Starkville against Mississippi State.
How ready are they? So ready, in fact, that they've already got their "beat Mississippi State" clock up.

Now granted this clock may be up all year and this is just the first that most of us have seen of it, but still, it exists, much like the "beat Mississippi" or "beat TSUN" or whatever our clock says for the Egg Bowl. I can't remember.
If nothing else, this clock depresses me severely because it says 271 (now 270) days and counting until the 2014 season, which means that in just a few weeks, we'll be without college football once again :(
