STARKVILLE, Miss. — Following midweek victories over Little Rock and Samford, the No. 2 Mississippi State baseball team is set to host its first Southeastern Conference series of the year, as the Dawgs face No. 16 Auburn (19-2) in a three-game series beginning on Friday at 6 p.m. CT at Dudy Noble Field.
Game two of the series is slated for Saturday at 2 p.m. The squads will then take the field on Sunday where the series will conclude with a 1 p.m. first pitch. All three games will be televised by SEC Network.
MSU claimed an SEC series win last weekend with a pair of wins at Florida, taking the first two games of the series by scores of 6-5 and 10-4, respectively. Auburn is currently on a 14-game winning streak and is coming off a weekend where the Tigers swept Tennessee. They also claimed a 13-5 midweek win over UAB.
