As the football season nears its close, the recruiting process also draws to a close for some prospects, while for others, it just begins. For Holmes CC WR Jonathon Rumph, it appears that process is near completion.

Jonathon Rumph will make his college commitment public tomorrow ($), he tells Dawgs247. Rumph is believed to be down to Georgia and Mississippi State, and we will find out tomorrow which Bulldogs will receive the services of the tall WR next fall.

Mississippi State has been after Rumph for quite some time, and I don't have to tell you what his addition to this recruiting class does. State is losing a good chunk of its receiving corps this winter, and Rumph is the exact type of player who could step in and make an immediate impact while the talented but young guys in the class develop.
