STARKVILLE, Miss. — The Mississippi State men’s basketball team will play host to Texas State in its 2020-21 home opener Monday at 7 p.m. CT inside Humphrey Coliseum. The game will be televised by SEC Network.

Mississippi State (0-2) opened the season with a pair of losses last week in the Space Coast Challenge. The Bulldogs fell to Clemson 53-42 before falling 84-73 to Liberty in the consolation game.

Monday’s meeting is the first between Mississippi State and Texas State on the hardwood.
