Broadcast Information

The game is at 6 p.m. CT and can be watched on ESPN+.

Player to Watch

JaMya Mingo-Young

Fresh off a career best 18 point outing, Mingo-Young has taken advantage of her starting role. In addition to her scoring, Mingo-Young can crash the boards on both ends of the floor. Like fellow guard Myah Taylor, she has bought into coach Nikki McCray-Penson’s system through an increase in attempted shots.

As seen against Jackson State and New Orleans, Mingo-Young’s play is a critical component of the Bulldogs’ offense running on all cylinders. She and Taylor look to have assembled a formidable one-two punch in the backcourt. Expect them to have the Bulldogs rolling early and throughout.

Prediction

Mississippi State beats South Florida 84 - 58
