Cameron Newton is headed to the NFL. Whether you believe he did anything wrong off the field or not, you can not deny how awesome the guy was on the field. Like him or hate him, Cameron Newton is going to go down as one of the greatest college football players of all time.
He's won the Heisman, and he's won the national championship. What more is there to do? His game averages this season were pretty incredible. Here are some big ones:
Pass yards per game: 203.9
Rush yards per game: 105.2
TD passes: 30
Points responsible for per game: 21.9
There is no reason for this guy to delay his NFL career any further...and besides, the NFL pays a heck of a lot more.
