Mississippi State has been invited to play in the Franklin American Music City Bowl in Nashville, TN. The Bulldogs will face off against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons of the ACC on December 30, 2011 at 5:40 p.m.
Bowl ticket sales began immediately following the Bulldogs' season-ending victory which clinched a bowl berth, and the Mississippi State ticket office has exhausted its 12,000 ticket allotment to the Music City Bowl. This will be the first meeting between the Bulldogs and Demon Deacons on the grid iron. Look for more coverage over the next month as the Bulldogs prepare for their 2nd post-season bowl game in as many years.
