State Hangs In At #25 In AP Poll; Carmon And Saulsberry Knee Injuries Won't Require Surgery

That look about sums it up doesn't it?
That look about sums it up doesn't it?

How about a little good news after the painful loss from yesterday?

According to Brandon Marcello, it seems that the knee injuries suffered by James Carmon and Quentin Saulsberry will not require surgery.  Based on what I've read and heard I don't really expect to see Carmon back in time for the LSU game, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.  Blaine Clausell did a pretty good job under the circumstances yesterday and it'll be good for him to get some more reps in considering he'll be "the man" next year.

Quentin Saulsberry is likely to play on Thursday, but nothing has been confirmed yet.  I suppose it'll all depend on how he does in practice.

It was also good to see that Mississippi State hung in at #25 in the AP poll.

Here's hoping that the Bulldogs come out mad and ready to get a little vengeance on LSU Thursday night!
