MSU Signee Josh Gray Reacts to Rick Ray Hiring On Twitter

Earlier today MSU announced the hiring of Rick Ray as our newest men's head basketball coach, and as the times dictate, we all immediately went to Twitter to talk about it.

Along with those of us who are fans, some commits began weighing in on the hire via the ole tweet machine as well.

MSU Signee Josh Gray tweeted this earlier today after hearing news of the Ray hire:

moments after sending out that tweet gray responded to a follower about his decision on coming to State:

Who knows, maybe Gray is April Fooling the hell out of our whole fanbase.

Obviously, Stricklin nor Coach Ray are going to retain an assistant coach for the reason of keeping a recruit, but it does bring to light an interesting fact of how these recruits sometimes create loyalty to either a school, a head coach or in this case, an assistant coach.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Gray, he is a 3-Star (Rivals), 6'1" Point Guard by way of Houston, Texas who signed with the Bulldogs in the early signing period last fall. Last month after Rick Stansbury retired, Gray asked for a release from his national letter of intent.

Yes I do realize this is a tweet from an 18 year old, and doesn't conclude anything concrete. Yes I realize this isn't exactly breaking news, as Gray has wanted out of his LOI for awhile. Yes I realize he may just be clowning us all.
