After an amazing 5 day run, our Bulldogs find themselves playing for an SEC Tournament title today in Hoover, Alabama. State finds itself pitted against the only team hotter than themselves in the SEC: the Vanderbilt Commodores. By my count, State will be going for their seventh SEC Tournament title today, and their first since 2005. Vanderbilt is looking to win their second tourney title, as they won their first in 2007.

State will give the ball to Freshman Brandon Woodruff (1-2, 2.90 ERA) to start the game tomorrow. Woodruff, as you remember, pitched 5 innings in the 9-1 victory over Arkansas way back on Tuesday to begin this quest. Rest assured, State will need another solid outing like Tuesday's out of Woodruff to have a chance against the red hot Commodores.

Come here to discuss the game, catch the latest score, and cheer on State to another SEC Tournament championship!

ETA: Braden (@tbradenbishop), myself and possibly others will be at the game, so I will try my best to update via twitter (@mstatesports, @cristilmethod) as best I can, but as you saw in our spring game "coverage", my AT&T phone doesn't LAK THEM BIG CROWDS.

#HailState, let's go win a championship, and OUTSMART TEH SMART GUYS
