100 Days of MSU Football - Day 95

95 days to go? It'll be here before you know it. But in the meantime lets talk about a former Mississippi State player who embodies 2 of my favorite things. One, nose tackles, who don't get the credit or fame for doing the job they do, and two, undrafted free agents who make it in the league and continue to contribute. That guy is none other that Kyle Love, #95, who is now Kyle Love of the New England Patriots.

Love was a two star recruit out of College Park, GA, who signed with the Sly Croom led Bulldogs in February of 2006. He played all four years, including as a true freshman, for the Maroon and White totaling 57 tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss and 2 sacks. He started every game in 2009 as a senior. Despite being undrafted in 2010, he caught on with the Patriots and is playing under the tutelage of Vince Wilfork. Love still makes it back to Starkville for basketball games and other activities. Today, is his day at FWtCT.
