DAY 66: The 1966 Season

"If you can't laugh at yourself, then who can you laugh at?"

Today's post wraps up the period of futility from 1966-68. '67 and '68 were no picnic and '66 was the beginning of this unfortunate era of MSU football. The Bulldogs finished the year 2-8, with wins over Richmond and Southern Miss. The end of the season was similar to the end of the '67 season. MSU lost their final six games by a combined score of 119-21 (4 shutouts).
