Ok, we dropped the ball on 100 days today. Actually, we missed it yesterday too. But while I'm sitting at home watching Starkville at Madison Central I figured I'd put something together. I mean, y'all know I have no life....I am married. So I'm just going to ramble. Warning: this may or may not be a waste of your time.
My iTunes is on shuffle and playing "The Beaches of Cheyenne" right now. Chances are my writing will reflect whatever genre of song is on.
D.C. Chris Wilson's son is playing QB for Starkville in this game. He's replacing Gabe Myles who is committed to State...to play DB.
Tomorrow is fan day in Starkvagas. It's 1-3 pm at the Palmeiro Center. You can get your picture taken with the Golden Egg in its 1,000 straight day in MSU's possession.
My iTunes just switched to Taylor Hicks. That's right, I'm a fan.
The depth chart was released today....listed after the hump..

Thoughts Ramblings...
No Joe Morrow? Wow. It's not surprising that all the seniors are listed as starters but I am a little shocked he didn't make the two-deep; I thought he'd be in over Ricco Sanders.
Ben Beckwith moves to LG because Templeton Hardy can't hack it. He's probably a good kid, but his career has been a disappointment...a 4-star coming out of high school in 2008. Now as a senior he wasn't able to keep his spot backing up Gabe Jackson. This could put some pressure on redshirt freshman Justin Malone over at RG because Tobias Smith has been severely hampered by injuries 3 times already in his MSU career.
(my wife just sent me a text to say Miranda Lambert and her girl band, The Pistol Annies, are on "Say Yes to the Dress". Yes, she just texted me and we're in the same house. And why do I blog? Because she wants to watch a wedding dress show and I want to talk about football with my keyboard.)
From everything I was hearing Nick Griffin had probably been passed by Josh Robinson. I guess not so much.

Ramblings...
Oooh, George Strait is on.
No Quay Evans in the 2-deep. Not totally surprising, but a little bit. No P.J. Jones either, but man the DTs are so deep. Fletcher Cox who? Ok, that was a bad joke.
I mcReckon (word I made up) Benardrick McKinney has won the job at Mike Linebacker. That unit looks really solid. And Richie Brown is back there as well. Metal Building Dawg approved.
//Rick Springfield comes on. /skips track. Allman Brothers' "Dreams", nice.
I really figured if Broomfield was going to move to safety that he'd for sure be the starter....because he is in essence giving up his starting corner stop, right? Maybe Slay had passed him. If so, that's good news for the secondary.
Side note - Late last night Mr. know-it-all Matt Stevens reported that Will Redmond received a car during his recruitment. This may be true for all I know, I of course hope it's not. But if it is not true I really hope Stevens is blackballed by MSU. Let Joe Scuzbucket report out of thin air, but I don't expect that from a MSU beat writer (again, if it is untrue - which I have heard it is, for what that is worth).
"Faithfully" by Journey just came on. That's like a Friday night staple.
I just checked my email, no new news on the NCAA situation. So keep that in mind: my sources are about a good as listening to Whitesnake at a Wrastlin' match.
