Gonna be a really really short set of notes today, but we'll have a plethora of good content following it up, so that will make up for it!

• Johnthan Banks was named the Jim Thorpe Defensive Back of the Week after last weekend's 2 INT performance against Auburn.
• Additionally, TE Marcus Green was named the John Mackey Tight End of the Week After a 2 TD performance in Saturday's 28-10 win.
• This is absolutely the coolest weekly series on any of the SBNation blogs that I've seen. Can't wait to see what they do the week we play them. Here's The Tailgate: Texas A&M vs. SMU over at Good Bull Hunting.
• So the Croom Doc on ESPN premiers at 6pm on September 25.
